    Replacement Chips for Samsung CLT-404/MLT-D201 Full Series

    In late 2015, Samsung released numerous printers in its Xpress, MultiXpress and ProXpress series throughout multiple regions that used the CLT-404 (or similar) cartridges. This included monochrome laser printers, color laser printers and multifunctional printers, aimed for use in home, small/middle/large-sized enterprises. Compared with the former 115 series, the 404 series has a faster printing speed and a better printing experience with NFC printing, cloud printing and mobile printing. Apex’s newly released replacement chips correspond with nine cartridge models including the MLT-D118, MLT-D201, CLT-403, CLT-404 and more.

     

    The OEM cartridge chips for the 404 series used a new technology with an advanced encryption algorithm, making the replacement chip design more difficult to develop. Also, since Samsung chips are regionalized, more time and resources are used to post-test these chips. 

     

    APEX Chips

     

    Based on Apex’s experience in designing replacement chips for Samsung applications, the R&D team set a goal to develop a solution in just over 200 days. After successfully breaking through the technical obstacles, Apex is releasing the replacement chips for the CLT-404/MLT-D201 full series of cartridges. Apex is dedicated to helping customers to stay competitive and win new business opportunities.

    *Multi-region universal replacement chip here means: Replacement chips for CLT-404 can generally used in area including: DOM, EUR, EXP, CHN, MEA, CIS, AME; Replacement chips for MLT-D201 can generally used in area including: DOM, EUR, EXP, CHN.
